This film does not fit the horror genre label and is definitely not Wes Craven-esque in its goriness, but it certainly is a gripping psychological thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat as it careens towards its bloody climax. The acting is superb, and the director’s use of camera-work and editing is innovative and exciting. It a great example of how talented individuals, even without major funding, can often produce a more engaging and rewarding movie than their big budget counterparts. The film also reinforces the fact that our choices and decisions during the critical teenage years can have long lasting consequences. Hopefully, this movie will encourage parents to have open discussions with their teenagers about the dangers of making poor decisions during these times. Especially if those decisions may lead to suicide. I found this to be a very thought-provoking and highly recommended movie!
